CNAPS 2017, September 20-22, Montpellier-France

Join us at the 10th International Symposium on Circulating Nucleic Acids in Plasma and Serum.

Application to Cancer detection:

Circulating cell free DNA (ccfDNA) is being explored as a diagnostic and prognostic tool for various diseases, especially cancer. Beyond evaluation of DNA mutational status, its blood concentration as well as its fragmentation profile has been investigated in many studies as potential cancer biomarkers. Contradictory results have however been described.

Picometrics and its partner Paris-Descartes University will present new methods for the characterization and analysis of plasma cell free DNA concentration and integrity using  the new BIABooster system based on in-line DNA concentration, as well as newly developed dedicated droplet-based digital PCR assays (dPCR). BIABooster analyses give DNA concentration and size profile in a single operation, using only 1 µl of sample.
